Strasburg-TV cancelled due to COVID case

TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio - The Strasburg Tigers' Oct. 30 game against the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans has been canceled due to a COVID-19 case surfacing within the Tigers team, according to Strasburg athletic director Gary Spinell.

Spinell says Strasburg is not able to field enough players for a Week 10 game, and will not take the field against a replacement opponent.

The Tigers missed their Week 6 game due to COVID exposure from their previous matchup with Newcomerstown, although the Tigers were able to participate in Week 7's playoff matchup with Monroe Central.

Strasburg will end their season with a record of 2-6.

Tusky Valley will play the Fairless Falcons as a replacement opponent this week.
