IVC Volleyball Showcase matchups released

STRASBURG, Ohio - The game matchups for the 2020 Inter-Valley Conference Volleyball Showcase, to be played on Saturday, Oct. 17, has been released.

The yearly Showcase, usually held at one location among the conference's schools, will be played at multiple locations hosted by all the IVC North members to ensure proper social distancing measures are taken.

Unlike previous years in which the varsity teams only participated, the following matchups will include junior varsity contests to precede the varsity matches. The following matchups all begin at 9 a.m. at their host schools:

-- Ridgewood Generals at Strasburg Tigers

-- Hiland Hawks at Newcomerstown Trojans

-- Claymont Mustangs at Buckeye Trail Warriors

-- Indian Valley Braves at Malvern Hornets

-- Garaway Pirates at Conotton Valley Rockets

-- Sandy Valley Cardinals at East Canton Hornets

The only Showcase match not to have a J.V. game, between the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans and the Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints, will be played between the two varsity squads at 6 p.m. at Tuscarawas C.C. High School.
