2020-21 IVC Boys Basketball Selections: Hiland's Will Schlabach, Malvern's Johnny Browning earn Player of the Year honors

Ohio - Hiland, Malvern, and Tusky Valley boast the top honors for the 2020-21 boys' basketball season in the Inter-Valley Conference.

Malvern dominated the IVC North Division, going 9-2 along with an overall record of 17-3. Johnny Browning earned Player of the Year honors for the Hornets, and his coach Dennis Tucci won the Coach of the Year award.

Browning joined his Hornets teammates Derk Hutchison and Michael Minor on the first-team selections, with Malvern having the most players (three) representing on the top squad.

In the IVC South, Hiland's Will Schlabach was named the Player of the Year, while Tuscarawas Valley coach Terry Sites won the coaching honors for taking the Trojans to a South-best 16-4 record (10-1 IVC).

Schlabach, who helped the Hawks finish 14-7 (10-2) and second in the South behind Sites' Trojans, was one of three All-IVC selections, but the lone first-team player. Sites, meanwhile, had four players on the roster, including first-teamer Nathan Glaser.
