NEW PHILADELPHIA - Registrations are being accepted for the 2019 Kent State Tuscarawas Alumni Association's 4th annual Glowway Run 5K, presented by Geib Funeral Home and Crematories. 

The 5K run and 1.5-mile Fun Run/Walk will be held Sept. 7th at the EAA 1077 Hangar on the New Philadelphia Harry Clever Field. Registration begins at 6:15 pm with the race kicking off at 7:15.

Proceeds from the event go to the Kent State Tuscarawas Alumni Scholarship fund. Pre-registration fee is $20 per person and $15 for students and alumni members. The deadline to preregister is August 23rd, all pre-registered runners will receive a free T-shirt. Same-day registration will also be offered for $25 per person.

Director of Advancement and Alumni Association member Chad Conrad says this is an opportunity for people to "get their glow on to make the future brighter for some local, hardworking students!”

Awards will be presented to the top three male and female runners overall and the top three finishers in each male and female age group. Refreshments will be served at the end of the race.
