Harcatus Community Action Organization Y.E.S. Program in search of volunteers

TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio - The Harcatus Tri-County Community Action Organization is reaching out for volunteers for its Youth Employment Services (Y.E.S.) program.

The Y.E.S. Program is designed for youths (ages 16-24) in Harrison, Central, or Tuscarawas Counties who may have certain barriers to employment (i.e. low income, lack of High School Diploma, GED, homelessness, basic skills deficiencies, involvement with the justice system, previous employment firing, and transportation issues).

Y.E.S. pays workers an hourly wage to learn financial literacy, leadership skills, resume writing and interviewing skills, soft and hard skills, time management, and teamwork.

The program also provides supportive services including but not limited to transportation services to and from class and work sites, work-related clothing and equipment, permit and licensing reimbursement, and interview clothing.
