New Philadelphia's Mitchell Stokey signs LOI to Carnegie Mellon

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio - New Philadelphia student-athlete Mitchell Stokey has signed a letter of intent to join Carnegie Mellon University's football program for the fall 2021 season.

Stokey will attend the Pittsburgh-based university after graduating from New Philadelphia this spring. Within the Quakers' football and basketball programs, Stokey earned captain status for both teams, along with first-team East District and honorable mention All-Ohio honors for the 2020 season.

Stokey received his offer from Carnegie Mellon back in December, and also received an offer from Dayton, along with visits to Baldwin-Wallace, Concord, and Mount Union.
