New Philadelphia’s Logan Ortt commits to James Madison

NEW PHILADELPHIA, OHIO - New Philadelphia senior announced on Tuesday his commitment to James Madison University's football program.

Ortt made the announcement via Twitter late Tuesday night: "I'm extremely excited to say that I will be attending James Madison University to continue my athletic and academic career! I am truly blessed an can not wait to see what the future has in store for me! Go Dukes!"

Ortt was a standout on the gridiron for New Philadelphia in 2020, even being named to the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl in Dallas back in January.

The senior received offers from Akron (preferred walk-on) and Robert Morris, as well as Clarion, Dayton, Fairmont State, Lenoir-Rhine, Ohio Dominican, and Valparaiso.
