Lynn Auto Theatre to host Drive-In Theater Tour on April 28

STRASBURG, Ohio - The Lynn Auto Theatre will be one of many tour destinations for the upcoming Drive-In Theater Tour, consisting of musical acts like Zach Williams, Mac Powell, and Cain.

The Christian music show will take place on Wednesday, April 28 at one of the longest-running drive-in movie theaters in the country, dating its operations back to 1937.

Zach Williams, formerly of the bands Zach Williams and The Reformation and The Brothers of Grace (later renamed Zach Williams and the Brothers of Grace), won the 2018 Grammy Award for his album Chain Breaker, which won Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. He is also a three-time Billboard Music Awards nominee, and his most recent album, 2019's Rescue Story, includes a single ("There Was Jesus") featuring Dolly Parton.

Mac Powell, formerly of the Christian rock band Third Day, won the 2001 Gospel Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year award and has produced four solo albums, including Mac Powell, Southpaw, Mac Powell and the Family Reunion, and December.

Cain, a trio band consisting of siblings Taylor, Madison, and Logan Cain, has toured throughout North America and the United Kingdom. Their songs include "Over My Head", "The Commission", and "Rise Up (Lazarus)".

The Drive-In Theater Tour starts March 25 in Newton, Alabama before making stops in Florida, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia. Other shows in the Buckeye State include April 18 at the Starlite Drive-In in Amelia, and May 1 at the Sundance Kid Drive-In in Oregon.

Tickets for the show in Strasburg will go on sale on February 12 on the drive-in's website.
