UHRICHSVILLE (WJER) - The Twin City Water and Sewer District is working to restore service to city customers after a 10-inch water line break.
Superintendent Donnie Fawcett says crews were conducting routine maintenance when a pipe burst near Roanoke Avenue.
“We were installing a new water service and the pipe burst and they’re working now to get it isolated,” he says.
Fawcett says once they get that break isolated, he expects about 30-customers will remain without service until they can get the problem fixed.
“Well, when the pipe burst, it airlocked our PRV-valve so they just have to bleed the air out of that and shut a couple valves off and then the majority of the area should be back with water,” he says.
Fawcett says there is currently no timeline for a full repair.
