NEW PHILADELPHIA - Effective today, Tuscarawas County Job & Family Services announces they’re stopping Non-Emergency Transportation for clients. 

Under the recommendation of the County Commissioners, TCJFS employees will reduce staff inside the building to provide effective distancing and stop non-essential contact and exposure. Some staff will work alternating shifts and some will work from home.  

The TCJFS transportation staff have stopped all transportation services, but is still available to schedule transportation services with other community providers.  

Clients can use the reimbursement program to have a driver of their choice transport them. Drivers can be reimbursed mileage.
