NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio - The Sheetz gas station at 1281 West High Avenue in New Philadelphia will close on February 15 for renovations.
The gas station, first opened in 2006, is planned to reopen sometime in May.
"This whole place is going to be completely renovated," said one Sheetz employee.
The New Philadelphia location is one of more than 600 hundred across the Midwestern United States, including Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. There are sixty-four stations in the Buckeye State.
The W. High Avenue location made headlines a few months ago, after a reported armed robbery took place at the store in mid-August of 2020.
