OHIO - Ohio communities will partake in the annual statewide tornado drill this Wednesday morning as part of the state's Severe Weather Awareness Week.
The drill will take place at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday and will involve the testing of outdoor tornado warning sirens. There will also be tests of the emergency alert system, which can include alerts sent to cellphones.
Many communities will be conducting their weekly test of outdoor sirens at 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday in lieu of the usual noon tests.
