DENNISON (WJER) - Democratic voters in Dennison are seeing a rematch in the mayor’s race from four years ago with former mayor Tim Still challenging incumbent Jeff Dryden on the ballot Tuesday.

Still says he has missed being in office over the last four years.

“I think I would be more proactive on things, going after grant money, doing this, doing that,” he says. “Outside of that, working well with council. I think I have that ability to that, and I think that’s what needs to be done.”

Dryden says he also will continue striving to have a good working relationship and accessibility.

“I don’t know about how he got along with people before but I get along with my employees, and the door’s always open for anybody to come here. They can talk to me, and I try to solve their problem,” he says.

Just over 150 people cast ballots in the race last time, and Dryden only won by a few votes.
