'Alice in Wonderland' murals set for downtown New Philadelphia

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio - A new mural is set to be displayed on a west-facing wall at Around the Corner Frames and the TuscArts Cooperative at downtown New Philadelphia's 207 S. Broadway, depicting characters from Lewis Carroll's 'Alice in Wonderland.

The public art piece is one of four partially funded by a $500 grant from the Tuscarawas Arts Partnership.

Three more murals are expected to be completed by the end of June, to be created by two New Philadelphia high school students, with the fourth coming from an Indian Valley High School student.
