NEW PHILADELPHIA - United Way of Tuscarawas County officials are introducing a new group of fundraising leaders as they kick off their 77th-annual campaign.

Jennifer Jones has been tapped to chair this year's community-wide fundraising effort to support 19 local health and human services programs. She says the strength of the local community lies in individuals working together toward a common vision.

"Tuscarawas County is incredibly fortunate to have so many remarkable people and agencies working tirelessly every day to impact so many lives in our community.

Jones is a Dover native and the vice-president of Physician Services for the Aultman Healthcare Delivery System. She is an active United Way volunteer, member of Tuscarawas County YMCA and a past graduate of Leadership Tuscarawas.

United Way Community Relations Coordinator Susan Reidenbach says they're pleased to have someone with her passion and talents spearheading this year's fundraising campaign.

Buckeye Career Center Superintendent Bob Alsept will work alongside Jones as this year's assistant campaign chair. He has been a United Way supporter for many years and currently serves as the organization's board secretary.
