NEW PHILADELPHIA - The Performing Arts Center is kicking off its 10th anniversary season with a performance by nationally known ventriloquist and comedienne Lynn Trefzger.

Lynn will take the stage on August 23rd beginning at 7:30 pm accompanied by a trunk full of zany characters. She has been named the Funniest Female Performer of the Year by CAMPUS ACTIVITIES MAGAZINE and was nominated by American Entertainment Magazine for Funniest Female. She and her many voices have appeared on ABC, TNN, A&E and Lifetime television. Her vocal illusion talents were first brought to national audiences on TV’s popular “Star Search” and she has since performed with artists including Jeff Foxworthy, Ray Romano, Drew Carey, and Faith Hill. 

Tickets start at $30 and can be purchased in person at the Performing Arts Center box office, by calling 330-308-6400 or online at www.kent.edu/tusc/pac. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.
