TUSCARAWAS COUNTY - Public health officials are continuing their efforts to keep the mosquito population at bay with another round of spraying. 

The New Philadelphia City Health Department will be spraying for mosquitoes tonight in the following areas:

• Schoenbrunn Estates/Hicks Hollow area
• Honey Valley area
• Crider Avenue area
• St Clair/Bank Ln SE and SW
• Southwest Edge of New Phila. 

Spraying will begin around 8:45 pm. People with respiratory problems should take appropriate actions and remain indoors with their windows closed while spraying is occurring. Questions and concerns should be directed to the New Philadelphia Health Department by calling 330-364-4491 ext.1208.

Meanwhile, the Tuscarawas County Health Department is also continuing its mosquito control efforts with another round of spraying this week in the following areas:

• Fairfield Township
• Lawrence Township
• Bolivar
• Zoar

Areas targeted for next week, July 15th-19th, include: 

• Sugarcreek
• Sugarcreek Township
• Rush Township, Roswell
• Port Washington
• Midvale
• Tuscarawas
• Jefferson Township
• Strasburg
• Sandy Township (including Zoarville)
