DENNISON, Ohio - The Dennison Railroad Festival is set to return for the 41st time in town history.

The Festival, which is slated to run June 2-5, was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Along with the traditional carnival attractions, events for the Festival will include the Princess Contest (ages 10-12) at 5:30 p.m., on Wednesday, June 2. Other events are set to include a craft show, which will run from Wed. June 2 to Saturday, June 5. However, the parade will not be held as parades were not permitted for the town at the time of planning.

Other events will include: the annual photo contest, with pictures displayed at the Dennison Public Library from June 1-7; the 5-mile run and Bob Dyson 1.5 mile walk-run on Sat., June 5 starting at 9 a.m.; the Dennison Rotary Car Show; the Dennison Volunteer Firefighters chicken barbeque dinner; and performances from local talent such as the Claymont High School Band, Karam's Kids Karate Presentation and the Park Christian Church Worship Team.
