New Philadelphia, Ohio - A 34-year-old from Dennison has been indicted by a Tuscarawas County grand jury for multiple-drug related offenses.

Charles N. McIntyre is charged in the 10-count indictment with multiple felony offenses including aggravated trafficking of the drug MDMA, having weapons while under disability, along with possession of fentanyl cocaine, methamphetamine and several types of prescription pills. He is also charged with aggravated menacing, a first-degree misdemeanor.

The charges stem from a November raid of a residence on North Water Street in Uhrichsville where McIntyre was living at that time. Uhrichsville Police initially responded to the home in response to a call about McIntyre allegedly threating another man with a gun. Drugs, drug paraphernalia, two handguns, ammunition and a pickup truck were seized from the residence. McIntyre had previously been convicted of multiple drug-related felonies including drug trafficking and was legally prohibited from owning firearms.

Southern District Court Judge Brad Hillyer ordered McIntyre held on a $200,000 bond during his initial court hearing. A bond company later posted his bail, and he was released from custody. McIntyre is due to appear in Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Court on March 29th for arraignment.
