Buckeye Career Center honors military enlistees

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio - Buckeye Career Center is honoring its 2020 seniors who have enlisted in the U.S. Military and begin service following graduation.

Five seniors will have their photos submitted to be part of the U.S. Armed Forces Career Commitment Celebration, presented virtually by the Ohio Department of Education in April.

Participating students include Spencer Miday (standing, center), a senior from Garaway who is enrolled in the BCC Welding program and has enlisted in the U.S. Army; Kaden Webber (standing, far right), a senior from Conotton Valley who is enrolled in the BCC Law Enforcement program and has enlisted in the U.S. Navy; Jacob Babe (seated, far left), a senior from Carrollton who is enrolled in the BCC Career-Based Intervention program and has enlisted in the U.S. Navy; Cheyenne Peterman (seated, far right), a senior from Indian Valley who is enrolled in BCC’s Electrical Systems Technology and Utility Lineworker programs and has enlisted in the U.S. Army; and Sha’len Steiner (standing, far left), a senior from Tusky Valley who is enrolled in the BCC Welding program and has enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.
