NEW PHILADELPHIA - Ever wonder what Akron, Ohio was like during the Second World War? Author Tim Carroll can shed some light.

 

Carroll brings his book World War II Akron to the Tuscarawas County Public Library System's Main Library on Thursday, March 5th at 6:30 p.m. 

 

The book highlights personal stories of people and companies from Akron, Ohio and the experiences they had during World War II and includes everything from soldier stories to political cartoonists.
