Dover, Ohio (WJER) - It’s time to round up those new or gently used toys again for the kids in the Share-A-Christmas program.

The annual WJER–Indian Valley FFA Toy Drive is at the radio station this Wednesday from 7 am to 7 pm. T4C Director Louise Worsham says FFA students will be manning the parking lot to unload toys and collect cash donations from the community.

“The FFA students will unload them from your vehicle so you don’t even have to get out. They will unload them, put them in their vehicles, and they will take toys by the truckload over to our toy distribution site,” she says.

Worsham says this year they plan to serve 934 families, up slightly from last year. but she says that shouldn’t be a problem.

“We’ve never had to turn a family away because we did not have any money to provide things for them, and I know that our community is going to come through again this year. I just know that they will,” she says.

Worsham says this year the distribution center is located inside New Towne Mall at the former JC Penney location where they will categorize all their donations and hand them out to families.
