New Philadelphia, Ohio - The Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its 2019 awards.

Awards include Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Organization of the Year, and Educator of the Year. Nominations for all categories must be made by a chamber member, and the winners will be announced during the group's 60th-annual banquet in January.

The criteria for each category is as follows:

• Small Business of the Year - Open to businesses with less than 50 employees. The business must be active in the community and exemplify outstanding business practices.
• Large Business of the Year -  Open to businesses with more than 50 employees. The business must be active in the community and exhibit a model of outstanding business practices.
• Organization of the Year - Open to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations active in Tuscarawas County that have accomplished their short- and long-term goals and made significant contributions to the community.  
• Educator of the Year - Open to area educators that have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to their students, the teaching profession and the community.
