DOVER (Tusco TV) - Area riders and ropers will be showing off their rodeo skills as a crowd favorite returns to entertain Tuscarawas County fairgoers.

The Rafter M Rodeo begins at 7:30 pm with steer wrestling, calf roping, barrel racing and more. Tuscarawas County Fair Marketing Manager Jonna Cronebaugh says it’s is one of the few grandstand events featuring local contestants.

“Compared to like the Moster Truck Show, that is a professional show. That’s not just anybody. That’s people who that’s what they do. The rodeo is local participants so you will see local people taking part in that,” she says.

Grandstand tickets are $5 per person while supplies last at Tuscarawas Avenue gate or by calling 330-343-0524. The ticket price is on top of daily admission with a special Senior Day rate of $1 offered today only for fairgoers ages 65 and older.
