Dover, Ohio - A special 25th anniversary calls for a special party.

And that's exactly what the Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital Auxiliary is planning for its silver anniversary edition of the "Warther's Christmas Tree Festival" this November.

Tickets are on sale now for the annual Christmas Tree Festival "Preview Party," which is scheduled for Friday, November 9, at 6 p.m. at the Warther's Carvings museum in Dover.

Tickets are $75 each and can be purchased online on the Auxiliary Christmas Tree Festival page of the hospital website at www.unionhospital.org, in person at Pam's Posies in downtown Dover or by calling Jen at Pam's Posies at 330-340-5611.

Preview Party ticketholders will have the first opportunity to enjoy the decorated trees in the festival, receive a special ornament and have an opportunity to participate in a fundraising auction of specially prepared trees featuring cutlery, jewelry and furniture.

Connie Finton of New Philadelphia is an Auxiliary member and longtime of the group's Warther's Christmas Tree Festival Committee. She says there are also a few special surprises planned for the Preview Party that ticketholders are sure to be very excited about.

"We're encouraging everyone to get their tickets early so they don't miss out on this event, which kicks off the Christmas season in the community," she says.

The tree festival is open to the public from November 10 through November 18. Admission is $5 for those ages 12 and older, and children younger than 12 are admitted for free. All tickets will be sold at the door.

Finton says she still "marvels" about the longevity and popularity of the Christmas Tree Festival.

"When we started this event, we really didn't know what to expect and we've been so grateful for the support of the public in the Tuscarawas Valley who share our mission of supporting our community's hospital," she shares. "This event just seems to grow every year, and I can't thank everyone enough as we all work together to benefit the patients of Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital."

The Christmas Tree Festival traditionally features more than 90 Christmas trees, filling the galleries of the Warther's Carvings museum. The Christmas trees in the festival are available for sale as are many wreaths, holiday arrangements, and the entire lobby display. Proceeds from the Christmas Tree Festival are donated by the Auxiliary to Union Hospital for the purchase of patient care equipment and facility improvements.

Huntington Bank is again serving as the primary corporate sponsor for the Christmas Tree Festival. Room sponsors include Dover Hydraulics, Parkway Auto Group and WTUZ Radio.
