STRASBURG - The Tuscarawas County Public Library officials is inviting community members to celebrate their inner-Trekkie with a program on July 9th at the Strasburg Branch.

Local history teacher and Star Trek enthusiast Troy McClellan will lead the program that starts at 6pm.  Attendees are invited to show up dressed like their favorite Stak Trek cast member for a fascinating look at the history of the popular television program and its effects on American culture.

Branch Supervisor Emily Crilley says the program is a perfect fit for the library system's space-themed summer reading program.

The program is free to attend but registration is required. To register, call 330-878-5711 or visit the library system's online event calendar at www.tusclibrary.org.
