SR 800, SR 212 traffic to be restricted week of Oct. 5

 

New Philadelphia, Ohio (October 1, 2020) - The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Tuscarawas County in the coming weeks. All outlined work is weather permitting.

State Route 212 upcoming restrictions and road work in Bolivar: Monday, October 5: SR 212 will be restricted at the I-77 interchange for bridge beam removal work. The restriction will take place between 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., weather permitting. Flaggers will be on scene to maintain traffic.

  • Thursday, October 8: SR 212 will be restricted at the I-77 interchange for repair work on the concrete pier caps for the I-77 bridges between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic maintained by flaggers.

State Route 800 upcoming daytime closures will begin Monday, October 5, when SR 800 will close during daytime hours for tree trimming work performed by ODOT crews. This work will take place throughout October.  The work will take place between Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists are asked to use the following detour: SR 800 south to SR 211, SR 211 north to I-77, I-77 north to SR 212 (EXIT 93), SR 212 east back to SR 800, and reverse. Completion date is October 30, 2020.
