NEW PHILADELPHIA - The Tuscarawas County Young Democrats invite the public to the “Share Your Story” Healthcare Town Hall on Tuesday, March 10th starting at 6 p.m. The Hall takes place at the Tuscarawas County Democratic Headquarters, 1260 Monroe St., New Philadelphia.

The goal of the event is to shine a light on the problematic issues with our current healthcare system and to highlight stories of people in our own community. The event will feature several local speakers --including members of the community who will share their personal stories-- as well as representatives from local health agencies. Attendees will also have the opportunity to share their own healthcare stories. The event will also include a discussion of the different healthcare policies being promoted by the leading Democratic presidential candidates.

Because Ohio will vote just one week later in the Primary Election, the Young Democrats want voters in the local community to be informed when they head to the polls. The group hopes a timely conversation about this important issue will encourage voters to learn about the candidates’ varying healthcare policy proposals and consider which policy is most likely to help their friends and neighbors in Tuscarawas County.
