Coshocton County, Ohio - A Coshocton County grand jury has released 41-count indictment against a Plainfield man previously indicted on rape charges.

Jeffrey D. Ellis, 33, was originally indicted in September on four counts of rape, a first-degree felony, for crimes that involved two juvenile victims. A second indictment was released last month and charges Ellis with an additional 31 counts of rape.

The indictment alleges that Ellis engaged in sexual conduct with four juvenile victims. The first two counts are for incidents involving a 10-year-old child, four counts are for incidents involving a child who is now 11, one is for an incident involving a 14-year-old, and 24 are for incidents involving a child who is now 14.

Ellis is also charged with 10 counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, a second-degree felony,  for incidents from December of 2017 through July of last year.

Ellis was taken into custody in August and is being held at the Coshocton County Jail on a $750,000 bond. A scheduling conference for the case is set for this Friday in Coshocton County Common Pleas Court.
