Canton, Ohio - A panel of human resource professionals and business owners will share their wisdom and experiences with job seekers at a special workshop hosted by OhioMeansJobs Stark & Tuscarawas Counties.

The “Ask An Employer” workshop will kick off Halloween Workshop Week on Tuesday, October 30th, at the organization’s Canton office at 822 30th St. NW and New Philadelphia office at 1260 Monroe St. Job seekers will have the opportunity to learn firsthand what companies are looking for when they are hiring new employees and ask questions of the panelists.  They also will get tips on resumes, job interviews, online applications, and how to keep a job once you have been hired.

The panel discussion will run from 10 to 11:30 a.m., followed by a hiring event from noon to 1 featuring the same companies that participated on the panel. Individuals will have the opportunity to get an on-the-spot interview with these companies, and job seekers do not have to attend the workshop to attend the hiring session.
