NEW PHILADELPHIA - OhioMeansJobs Stark and Tuscarawas Counties will be offering a Veterans Resource Panel & Appreciation Event Tuesday to celebrate and support local men and women who served in the U.S. armed forces. 

The event will be from 10:30 to 11:30 am at OhioMeansJobs Tuscarawas County, located at 1260 Monroe St. in New Philadelphia.  The Veterans Resource Panel will feature local veteran service providers giving an overview of their programs and services and answering questions from those attending the session. Panelists include staff from the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, the Tuscarawas County Veterans Service Commission and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services' Disabled Veteran Outreach Program along with Congressman Bob Gibbs’ Veterans and Military Affairs Liaison. In addition to the panel, veterans visiting OhioMeansJobs Stark and Tuscarawas County centers during November can sign up to win a $25 gift card. Veterans attending Tuesday's event will get an additional entry into the drawing.
