New Philadelphia, Ohio (WTUZ) – Motorists will soon see a major improvement to the traffic flow at the Interstate 77, US 250, and West High Ave interchange. The Ohio Department of Transportation will begin the work on Thursday, June 21st. SR 39, otherwise known as West High Avenue, will be reduced to one lane of traffic between County Road 21 and the I-77 northbound/ US 250 westbound off-ramp. The upgrades at this intersection will include additional and expanded lanes. Along with new traffic signals, ODOT will also be revamping the Park n’ Ride by adding additional parking spaces.
