New Philadelphia Christmas Parade welcoming participants, set for December 4

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio - The New Philadelphia Christmas Parade will be held Friday, Dec. 4 in a drive-thru experience at the New Towne Mall.

Mayor Joel Day will kick off the event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:00 pm, and will lead the route through the parade until 8:00 pm.

In working with the City of New Philadelphia Health Department, parade floats and entries will remain stationary as visitors drive along the parade “route” enjoying the sights and sounds of the season. Guests are asked to stay in their vehicles to ensure the safety of all involved.

All participants will be required to wear a mask and floats will be spaced out appropriately.
