TUSCARWAS COUNTY (WJER) - Voters are deciding races for school board, mayor, township trustee and other positions along with some tax issues in the county today.

Tuscarawas County Board of Elections Director Gail Garbrandt says the polling places are open until 7:30 pm tonight. She says voters need to bring identification or documentation showing their current address, as a passport doesn’t work.

“They can bring an unexpired Ohio driver’s license or Ohio id card. They can also bring a utility bill with their correct name and address printed on it that’s not older than 12 months, a bank statement, a paycheck,” she says.

Garbrandt says the month-long early voting period wrapped up Monday at 2 pm. they had 50-some people cast ballots Sunday.
