COLUMBUS – Two Tuscarawas County men are facing felony drug charges after troopers found them with 288 grams of methamphetamine during a traffic stop in Akron.

22-year-old Jaelin Whitman of New Philadelphia and 25-year-old Gregory Swiney of Dover are charged with methamphetamine possession and drug trafficking for the November 7th traffic stop on South Arlington Street. Both men are being held at the Summit County Jail and could face up to 22 years in prison if convicted. 

Troopers say the estimated street value of the drugs is around $10,000.
