Carrollton, Ohio – Local agencies are coming together to host an event designed to combat the opioid crisis by educating youth and empowering individuals to build strong communities.
Hope for Ohio will be held on Saturday, November 3rd, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at FFA Camp Muskingum, located at 3266 Dyewood Road SW in Carrollton.
The event will feature several speakers who will discuss a variety of topics related to the current opioid crisis including prevention, mental health awareness, character building and personal experiences. Speakers scheduled to appear include representatives from Prevention Action Alliance and Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Ohio; Tyler's Light founder Wayne Campbell; and Dave Kohout of Talk is Cheap.
The event includes lunch and will also feature a panel and other breakout sessions. To register, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
