NEW PHILADELPHIA - The Tuscarawas County Public Library System officials are inviting area families to join them as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing with a special program.

The library system will be welcoming Mad Science for an interactive show this Thursday beginning at 6:30 pm at the Tuscora Park Pavillion. Children's Services Manager Linda Uhler says this interactive program will ignite imagination and learning by exploring the moon, principles of flight and even astronaut training.

The program is free to attend but registration is required. To register, visit the library's online event calendar at www.tusclibrary.org or call 330-364-4474. The Tuscora Park Pavilion is located at 1616 Tuscora Ave. SW in New Philadelphia.
