NEW PHILADELPHIA - Leadership Tuscarawas is accepting applications for its 2020–2021 Signature Program class through May 15th.

The program focuses on developing the growth of participants as community leaders through interaction with local decision-makers and classmates representing diverse and unique perspectives. Group interaction, teamwork, and collaborative community-based projects are important components of the overall experience.

The Signature Class begins with an intensive two-day opening retreat. Following the retreat, participants spend one full day each month for the next nine months addressing a specific aspect of the community in interactive program days. Sessions are held at various locations around the county, providing participants with a broader understanding of our area.

In addition to the community-based focus of the program, participants also experience twenty leadership training modules designed to enhance their understanding of contemporary leadership practices and enhance their performance at their place of employment. Examples of topics include emotional intelligence, multi-sensory learning, personality style assessment, leading change, and influence and persuasion.
