New Philadelphia, Ohio - The Kent State University at Tuscarawas Engineering Technology Department has announced the winners of this year's Regional Bridge Building Competition. 

The competition was held on this past Thursday and featured more than 200 entries with 68 area high school students participating. 

Nathan Walker of New Philadelphia High School took home first place for his second consecutive contest win, and second place went to Carter Zeedyk from Dover High School. Both students will go on to the National Bridge Building Competition in Baltimore, Maryland.

Other winners included: 3rd - Matthew Pfeiffer (New Philadelphia); 4th  - Kobe Gaskin (New Philadelphia); 5th - Gavin Perkowski (Tuscarawas Valley); 6th - Joshua Ice (Dover); 7th - Nolan Little (Dover); 8th - Ian Stein (New Philadelphia); 9th - Hunter Beach (New Philadelphia); 10th - Tyler Sutton (Conotton Valley).
