ZOAR -  Historic Zoar officials are giving the community a chance to experience the atmosphere of a traditional 19th-century Christmas.

The village will be offering a new series of Christmas tours that give visitors the chance to explore the Zoar's historic museums beautifully decked out for the holiday season. Tourgoers will learn about Zoar's history, its Separatist founders and their Christmas traditions, and the Zoar Bakery will also be open and selling made-from-scratch baked goods.

Tours dates are November 29 and 30, and December 1, 14 and 15. Tours last 60 to 90 minutes and begin at 1, 2:30, and 4 pm. Tickets are $15 for visitors ages 13 and over and free for kids 12 and under. Reservations are recommended but not required and can be made by calling 330-874-3011 or 1-800-262-6195.
