Tuscarawas County, Ohio (WTUZ)  – The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the death of 62-year-old David Robinson as a homicide. Robinson died October 22nd in an Akron hospital a week after he was beaten while mowing his lawn in Gnadenhutten. Robinson was assaulted by 30-year-old Joshua Lippencott, of Gnadenhutten, who was driving by when he got out of his vehicle and punched Robinson one time in the face. According to the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office, Robinson had pushed his lawnmower out into the roadway to turn around. Forensic Investigative Supervisor Amy Schaefer stated that Robinson died from post-traumatic meningitis as a result of complications from facial bone trauma. - Michele Spring Reporting
