New Philadelphia, Ohio - The Friends of the Tuscarawas County Public Library's New Philadelphia group will be kicking off National Friends of the Library week with a book sale at the Main Library in New Philadelphia.

The Friends will be selling books in the garage of the library on October 22nd, 23rd, and 24th from 9:30 a.m. to 7 pm. All money raised will aid the library in purchasing carpet. 

During the sale, books can be purchased with a donation, and for a $5 donation, attendees may fill up an entire grocery bag with items Items that will be available at the sale include used adult, teen, and children's books; DVDs; book posters; and more. No public donations of books will be accepted.

In addition, the Friends group will also be giving away entries for a fall-themed basket to anyone who becomes a new Friends member. The will also be selling notecards and raffle tickets.
