Dover, Ohio -  Tech classes are going strong at the Dover Public Library during renovations, giving patrons additional opportunities to learn something new.

During the Microsoft PowerPoint Improv session that begins at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 6th, attendees will work together to build a PowerPoint presentation and ask any questions that arise during the process.

A Microsoft Excel class is set for Monday, November 19th, beginning at 6 p.m. During this hands-on session, participants will learn data entry, sorting, basic formulas, and more using Microsoft's spreadsheet program.  Experience with Microsoft Office is helpful but not necessary to participate.

Finally, a class on Instagram will take place on Tuesday, December 11th, beginning at 6 p.m.  During this class, participants will learn how to use Instagram, from posting a photo to tagging friends, to bookmarking your favorite posts.  Participants are asked to bring their phone and download the Instagram app before the class.  For assistance with this step, stop by the library.

The programs are free to attend but class sizes may be limited, and registration is required. For questions or to register for a class, call the Library at 330-343-6123 to register or for any questions. The Dover Public Library is located at 525 N. Walnut St., across from Dover High School.
