New Philadelphia, Ohio - A  28-year-old Newcomerstown woman was back in court Friday for her alleged role in a failed robbery attempt and shooting. 

Samantha S. Owen was arraigned Friday on counts of attempted murder, felonious assault, aggravated robbery, and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, all with gun specifications. 

Owen is accused of conspiring with Ian Cultrona, Lucian Lambes and Douglas Casteel to rob the driver of an SUV during a December 5th drug deal. Lambes and Casteel are accused of opening fire on the vehicle and injuring a 17-year-old passenger.

Owen entered pled not guilty to the charges, and Common Pleas Court Judge Edward of O’Farrell released her on her own recognizance. The judge also vacated Owen's previous bond order from Southern District Court which prohibited her from using a cell phone or traveling outside the county and her ordered her $2,500 bail be reimbursed. 

The three men previously appeared in court and pled not guilty to the same charges. Cultrona was released on his own recognizance, while Lambes and Casteel were ordered held without bail. 

Lisa Freetage of West Lafayette was also arrested during for allegedly allowing Lambes and Casteel to use her vehicle to commit the robbery. Her case is still pending in the grand jury.
