DENNISON  (WJER) - The incumbent mayor in Dennison has apparently lost his bid for reelection during the Democratic primary.

Unofficial results give challenger and former mayor Tim Still 100 votes compared to 57 for current Mayor Jeff Dryden.  Four years ago, Dryden only beat Still by three votes.

Still says it was nice to work hard and turn things around this time.

"Well, I was hoping that way but I was surprised the way it turned out, that it was almost double the vote," he says. "I just worked along with other people that helped me, a little harder to get elected than I did the last time."

Still says it’s still too early to guess whether an independent or a write-in candidate could enter the race on the November ballot.
