DOVER - The Dover Public Library is helping patrons learn the ins and outs of social media, tablets, and more with a series of free technology programs.

The program on social media will be this Saturday starting at 3 pm. Library staff will walk participants through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more. The program will help beginners get started while providing tips for more experienced users.

Tablet Day will be Thursday, September 19th,  with a session on Android tablets sessions from 10 to 11:30 am and one on iOS tablets from 1:30 to 3 pm. Both sessions offer one-on-one assistance with a Tech Librarian. Participants should bring their questions, device and any needed cords.

The library will also present a program on "cord-cutting" on September 28th at 2 pm. Led by Tim Liversage, this program will show participants how to save money by streaming TV programs through the internet.
