People are flocking to New Philadelphia Ohio for a glimpse at a multi-colored bird not typically found in the area. The tiger bunting -- a species of tiger bird -- was reportedly spotted near Digital Marketing Group on Tuscarawas Ave in New Philadelphia, OH this morning. Birdwatchers have been amazed at the sight of the extravagant bird seen usually in the southern United States with its vivid green and yellow feathers. The arrival of April brings the start of the breeding bird survey season and means everything shifts into high gear. Hundreds of bird watchers, and tiger enthusiasts have flocked to the area in hopes of catching a glimpse of this rare breed. Perhaps this lone bird will find a mate and will take up residence in the area. We can only hope. Happy April 1st!
