Trumpet in the Land will present an eerie outdoor interpretation of the legend of Dracula for two consecutive weekends starting this Friday. (Trumpet in the Land)

NEW PHILADELPHIA - Day turns to night, the winds begin to howl, and on October 4, 5, 11 and 12, the legendary vampire, Dracula, emerges from his crypt to walk among the living at the Trumpet in the Land Amphitheatre.

Dracula will make your hair stand on end as you are enveloped by the ever-ominous darkness when the children of the night invade the open-air amphitheatre. Be enthralled by the mesmerizing story, but don’t be too quick to think that the person sitting beside you is just another audience member as you watch the blood-sucking Count played by Joseph Bonamico, Corey Zickel as the insect-eating Renfield, and the relentless Professor Van Helsing played by Bart Herman. Remaining cast members include Missy Zickel, Kami Stanley, Mark Durbin, Laura Milarcik, Ken Holmes, Elizabeth Lawson, Lora Cotton, Larry Sams, Megan Sams, Taylor Rummes, Mikey Rogers, Gregg Ashbrook and Emily Wick .

Tickets for this eerie 8 pm production are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors 60 and over and students 13-17 and $10 for children 12 and under.
