Dover, Ohio -  A drive-thru clinic set for this Saturday at the Tuscarawas County Health Department will give residents an opportunity to get their flu vaccine from the comfort of their car.  

The county Health Department will conduct the clinic on Saturday, October 27th, from 8 a.m. to noon at the clinic at 897 East Iron Ave. in Dover. Regular dose and High dose flu vaccine will be available, while supplies last, for ages 3 and up. No infant or pneumococcal vaccines will be available.

Drivers are asked to enter the clinic off the Boulevard using Clubview Drive and to bring a photo ID and their medical insurance card. The cost for uninsured patients is $39 for Regular dose and $75 for High dose,  payable with cash or check. 

Vaccine Consent Forms can be completed, online, prior to the event at http://www.tchdnow.org/clinic-forms.html. Forms will also be available the day of the event. 

Influenza, or the flu, is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and sometimes the lungs. Public health officials say getting vaccinated each year is the first and most important step to prevent the flu.
