Uhrichsville, Ohio (WTUZ) – Construction is progressing for a Uhrichsville gas service station.

The Circle K site in Uhrichsville is under development as crews work to move the gas station building and pumps for a new look.

City Mayor Rick Dorland says that the demolition and rebuild are around a $4 million investment.

“The actual building will be put back along the alley and then the gas pumps will be in front of the building. When you come off of Water Street or off of 11th Street, the parking will be in front of the building.”

New underground storage tanks will also be installed.

Dorland adds that the Circle K convenience store at the corner of N. Water Street and W. 8th Street will be vacated; however, employees will move to positions at the new gas station once it’s completed.
